DIY - How to make Frag Plugs
ETRC Meeting - Howto - Frag Plugs
...presented by Mel and Art, 8/19/06

Items needed:
- sand
- portland cement
- mixing bucket
- some type of forming tray
- RO water

1. Combine 1 part portland cement and 2 parts of sand into a mixing bucket.

2. Mix the dry ingredients together.

3. Add RO water to the mix to make a thick/gummy mixture.

4. Scoop mixture into forming tray. This could be a quart baggy, wax paper, or a jello mold. Flatten out the mixture to form a thin layer.

5. Let the plugs dry overnight.

6. Remove the plugs from the mold and place in a basket. Use some type of plastic basket that could be purchased at a dollar store. NOTE: If using a baggy and flattening the mixture, break up the sheet into pieces

7. Place the plugs into the toilet tank. Leave them in the toilet tank for 2 months to cure.

8. Go mount some frags
