 November 2005 Meeting Minutes
ETRC Meeting - at Art Curl's House
Art demonstrated drilling a tank. Using weight of the drill and constant water spray seemed to be the key.

Art demonstrated making an epoxy faux sand bottom. Mix two-part clear epoxy, pour in, cover with sand, and continue covering as wet spots appear. Or add a second coat of epoxy for a smoth finish. Do not to use play sand as it turns brown. Southdown sand remained fairly white.

Christmas party will be at Graham's. Date to be decided in the Reef Central forum.

Matt may be hosting January meeting. Confirmation TBA.

We are seeking nominations for a replacement VP. Eric confirmed that he would be willing to fill the position. Nomination will be posted on RC forum.

Increasing membership ideas discussed; bumper stickers, adds in thrifty nickel, adds in newspaper under Miscellaneous Pets for sale, doing a production for view on public access TV channel. Print-ad options basically approved upon cost confirmation.

Announced/discussed the frag swaps in Nashville in January and Chattanooga in April.

Julie took lots of pics of Art's tank. Art's tank has been a work in progress for many months and turned out FANTASTIC.
