Topic for next meeting- Members suggested the following topics for consideration: (1) Coral toxicity, (2) Propagation /fragging, (3) Calcium and Alkalinity, (4) lighting. Coral toxicity was chosen as the topic with no one immediately volunteering to present the subject.

Group orders- The possibility of making a group order from a mail order company was raised. We decided to discuss this on the club forum section.

Member phone list- The subject of having a list of members who would be available to contact by phone was discussed.

Club organization- General concepts were discussed about the need to have a list of rules and guidelines to run the club. The officers are going to work on these issues and bring these documents back to the members for approval.

Door prize- The Coral Reef store provided a new Nano Cube 12 gallon aquarium as a door prize. A drawing was made, and the winner was Matt Carberry.

Topic- pH
Gould Smith presented an excellent discussion on water pH. The presentation is available in the articles section of our web site. After the meeting, water from the Coral Reef was tested with a variety of test kits and pH meters.
